Why should I choose RES Contracting?

R.E.S. Contracting has more than 30 years of experience building custom homes in the Prescott area. We use that experience to guide you through the building process and provide the choices to create the home you want. Staying on budget is a key component. All costs are discussed in detail before any construction is started. Why should I choose to build a home instead of buying an existing home?

While it is true that there are some potential “bargains” available, they almost always require a compromise in quality and design. If your new home is going to be a long term residence, then the advantages of building are tremendous. The design and quality are not compromised and you pay for only what is important to you.

Do I need to have plans first?

We can work with your existing plans or help you create a new plan. The features of your lot and the details that you want in your home are all important in creating the design that fits your needs and budget. Call and we can discuss your project.

In what areas do you work?

We build homes in all parts of Prescott, including Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. We’ve built homes in dozens of Prescott’s subdivisions including the Ranch of Prescott, Hassayampa, Inscription Canyon, American Ranch, Forest Trails, Southview, Prescott Lakes, and many more.

Do you provide financing for new homes?

We can provide contacts with lenders that are local and have experience in the Prescott area. Several of our customers have saved time and money by working with lenders that understand the local market.

What is the cost of construction in Prescott?

There is a large range depending upon the building size, finish selections, and your property. If you call or email the basics of your project, I can give you an estimate of the cost of construction. After your plans are completed, I will provide the total cost of construction with no charge to you.

Do I have to live in Prescott during the construction of my home?

Although there are advantages to living locally, many of our homeowners live out of town during construction and then move directly into their new home when they move to Prescott. We work with you to schedule visits during construction and our homeowners are consistently happy with the results. We have a lot of experience with this process and we can provide a list of clients that have built while living out of town and you can talk to them directly.
